Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets with the Ambassador of Qatar in Kabul

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, in an online meeting, discussed the expansion of trade and transit cooperation with Mr. Saeed Mubarak al Khayarin al Hajri, Qatar's Ambassador in Kabul.

The Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan emphasized the increase of trade relations between the two countries and said, the volume of Afghanistan's exports with Qatar has increased significantly compared to previous years, and called on Qatar traders to invest in various sectors in Afghanistan.

Mr. Ghoryani added, the Afghan government has provided all facilities for foreign investors in the country.

On the other hand, Mr. Saeed Mubarak Al-Khayarin Al-Hajri, Qatar's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Kabul stressed the importance of expanding trade and transit relations between the two countries and reminded of the establishment of a special air corridor for the transfer of commercial goods from Afghanistan to Qatar.

He added the expansion of trade relations between the two countries is in the interest of Qatar and Afghanistan in the region.
