Inauguration of 3 production-industrial plants in Kandahar province

Mr. Mohammad Sulaiman Binshah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, who had traveled to Kandahar province to explore the opportunities and challenges facing industrialists, traders, and investors, opened three industrial plants in Shurandam Industrial Park.

During this visit, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce inaugurated Al-Faqir Industrial plants, a producer of baby diapers, sanitary pads, and disposable papers, inaugurated Kandahar Helmand Polyethylene Pipe and Kabul Helmand PVC Pipe Industrial Plant, a producer of PVC pipes.

These plants with a total investment of $1200.000 in different sectors, have recently started operating in Shurandam Industrial Park in Kandahar province and have provided jobs for more than 200 people.

These plants, supply their needed raw materials from neighboring countries and sells their products throughout Afghanistan.
