Minister of Industry and Commerce emphasizes the readiness to meet the needs of citizens in an emergency situation

The meeting on the plan to increase exports and imports in an emergency was chaired by Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce attended by the deputies of the Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, Irrigation,, and Livestock, Economy,, and the representative of the Central Bank.

In this meeting, Mr. Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, emphasizing full readiness to increase exports and imports in an emergency said, our goal is to be ready for emergency situations and should have a regular plan on how to meet the needs of the people through commercial ports.

Mr. Ghoryani also added, to increase the domestic products export and the import of needed goods, especially food and fuel, all government institutions, especially the economic sectoral ministries and Private Sector, should work together.

In this meeting, the deputies of the Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock and Economy also shared their views and suggestions on the preparation and compilation of this memorandum and their cooperation to provide the necessary facilities to increase exports and imports.
